Can you write web pages in adobe photoshop?

i have photoshop 7, and i was wondering if you can draw web pages in it. i have no idea about web design just yet, but i am looking into that. my question is weather that is a good program to start with?

Start by checking out some web templated for photoshop....they have a few on the various template sites that are pretty cool, that will give you a good idea about how to do it...

Other Replys:Yes you can make html files with Photoshop... sort of. It used to have a separate program called Image Ready for making web files, but many of it%26#039;s features are now incorporated into Photoshop. You add %26quot;slices%26quot; to your file and when you save the file, you choose %26quot;Save for Web and Devices%26quot; and choose to save both html and images. But this is really for getting the image part of web files... to add text and do other types of formatting, you%26#039;ll need to hand-code it (eg. in notepad or something) or use an html editor like Dreamweaver.

So, yes you can make html files in Photoshop, but I wouldn%26#039;t recommend it as a solution. It%26#039;s usually best just to save elements of a site, or as a starting point.

Other Replys:Hmmm I wrote a few webpages but I used the old fashioned HTML coding that I wrote in notepad and uploaded it up to a server. I%26#039;m not sure you can actually use adobe photoshop....you maybe able to create webpages using a program called %26#039;frontpage%26#039; or use a template online. Other than that, to really do everything you want, you probably need to just learn HTML.

Other Replys:Hire a webdesigner to code it up, design it as a best you can, but it would be the same you you designing your home in photoshop, and also printing out the technical drawings and material lists from photoshop.
