Help me with a web page form?

I have copied and pasted a feedback form from my employers existing website to the new one I am designing for them (as I can%26#039;t make forms yet). In the source there is the formating of the form (colours etc...) then at the end the code that actually submits the info inputted. It is currently:

This works fine if I leave it be, it emails me@companyname.co.uk and then redirects to http://www.companyname.co.uk/thankyou.ht...

If I change the web address to www.yahoo.com or any other web page it redirects there. But if I change it to d/my documents/thankyou.html or such I get a page cannot be displayed. Will I have to wait till the site is live then change that line to reference the www. addresss?

I think the problem is that it%26#039;s the web server that is trying to deliver your redirected to page. So the page MUST be on that machine and under a directory which is accessible from the web server, it can%26#039;t be on your PC ( unless thats your web server as well ).

Other Replys:you are using front page, front page has page templates, one is a feedback form.

you should set it to email the the infomation, NOT send it to a webpage. what use is feedback if you don%26#039;t get it, that is why you send it as an email to your self / your boss

The person fills in the form and you then get an email with the information they filled in, no need to check the website then, it also means only the email recipriant gets the information, not anyone reading the website

If you have created the %26quot;my documents%26quot; folder then it will redirect to the webpage you want. If the my document folder is created by operating system like say Windows XP then it should be like %26quot;C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\My Documents\thankyou.html%26quot;. If you are confused with then easy way is to open the folder where your thankyou.html is, copy the location from address bar and add %26quot;\thankyou.html%26quot; at the end.

Other Replys:you cannot redirect to your MyDocuments folder!!! the file need to be on the server not on the computer!

forgive me if im mistaking!!! but it sounds like you are trying to point to a file on your computer

Other Replys:you need to upload the thankyou document on to the server, once this is done then it should display - if the site is on the server - if its still on your pc then you need to check the link again.
