I%26#039;m making a web site and I%26#039;ve stumbled on some major problems. My web site looks normal and fine on my computer, but once I view it on another computer, it looks horrible. I know for sure it can%26#039;t be the resolution, because it%26#039;s not the size. What I have is a nice %26lt;div id=%26quot;sectionLinks%26quot;%26gt;. Once I view it on another computer, it comes out as bullets of text on the bottom of the page. Basically a lot of things gets unaligned, and things look different. I%26#039;m using Dream Weaver by the way.

Stick it all in a table with width=%26quot;800%26quot; align=%26quot;center%26quot; for example - like Yahoo

This problem is usually caused by the different browsers. When you develop try to go for cross browser compatibility.
You can do this by installing:
绂?Firefox http://www.firefox.com
绂?Safari http://www.apple.com/safari/download/
绂?IE 07 http://www.microsoft.com/windows/product...
绂?IE 06 (via stand alone / multiple IEs) http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE
When you develop, look at your website in different resolutions and different browsers. Firefox has a lot of plugins to help you with developing too.
绂?https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox...
Divs give the most problems and spacing is always hard to get cross-browser compatibility. keep tinkering and you will get it.
Hope this helps,
Good Luck
Other Replys:You know the problem is that we do not know what is a webpage. All you have to do is to make a microsoft word file and save it as a html file from the save as options instead of a word file. Even excel and powerpoint etc can also be saved as html files from the save as dialog. You do not need any soofi softwares for that like dream... etc.
Other Replys:Don%26#039;t completely rule out resolution yet. Different dimensions can cause more problems then just sizing. When you make a web page, make sure that you have viewed it in every likely dimension (ie. 800 X 600, 1024 X 768, 1280 X 768) and that it works in each one. Also, if using tables, don%26#039;t resize them manually because what you see is not necessarily what you get. Do it through the table options. Also, if using Active X controls, make sure they are enabled on the computer that is showing your web page incorrectly.
Other Replys:Send me the URL and I%26#039;ll take a look. Unless it%26#039;s not online anywhere yet.
The answers so far have been good. Either screen resolution differences or browser handling differences are the key.
Other Replys:www.vtxweb.com is a really cheap and fast web design service
