It probably is the program. When I have to use Front Page (it%26#039;s on the machines where I work) I use the graphic tools only for the most basic layouts, disable the templates and stuff, and hand code the html in the html view.
I%26#039;ve had to guide co-workers through the templates and %26quot;automatic%26quot; navigation functions, and it%26#039;s a pain, to say the least. All I can say is read the directions and the included help files, and try things until it works. Or get a good book or two on HTML and learn to hand code things.
(My experience is in FP 2000 -- my company won%26#039;t even spring for an upgrade. I%26#039;m sure newer versions have added unnecessary bells %26amp; whistles to complicate things even more -- that%26#039;s the Microsoft way.)
