If you dont like it, leave. plain and simple, its purpose for me, is entertainment and enjoyment, points are fun, but not nessasary.

The only problem I have with Yahoo! I also think it%26#039;s kind of dumb that you loose points for asking a question. I mean if it weren%26#039;t for people asking them, there would be no Answers service.

Other Replys:For me it%26#039;s fun, and sometimes I think I help people. There are some people with legitimate questions...as well as some who give legitimate answers.
Since I try to research anything that does not rely on my own personal opinion or experience I also learn things that I might not have thought to investigate on my own.
That said I see the side you are talking about too.
I suppose when there are so many people in one area all being asked to give input...in fact rewarded for it. There are going to be misuses and abuses as well as just plain stupid and crazy people.

By the way there are other %26quot;answers%26quot; sites...not sure if they are much better but Wikipedia has one and maybe Google too..perhaps one of those might be more to your liking.
