I have a template of a web page and....?

guys, me n my frnds wanna have our web page to put sum advertisments on it. so my uncle gave me templates of some web pages that he has, but the thing is those pages are already designed and every thing is ready in them, and we need a blank page that we can write our coompany%26#039;s name at its top and then put advertisments on it.. so the question is, can we edit that page that is already designed ( given to me by my uncle ).. or we need a web designer, or it cant even be edited ???????????????????

Yes you can edit it. A simple way to do it is to copy and paste the html and css code into notepad and change what you want to change and save it as a .html format.

You don%26#039;t need any web designer programs but that does make everything a lot easier if you don%26#039;t know html.

It allows you to view the css coding of any page on the web; this is useful if you want to copy the codes and just change small parts of it.

Most graphics in premade templates can be edited in Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks. If the template comes with a file that ends with .psd you can edit it in Photoshop. If it ends with .png you can edit the graphic with Fireworks.

Once you have the image files customized you can edit the layout and text in an HTML editor like Macromedia Dreamweaver.

Other Replys:You might wanna try dreamweaver or front page as you don%26#039;t seem to have knowledge necessary for html editing. If you do then just open the files in notepad. Though you might want to use dreamweaver or frontpage nonetheless as you might wanna position the ads properly which ofcourse is not that easy if you do it the hard way (editing html).
