I am taking over a site where I don%26#039;t know which website editor was used to design it. How do I use Dreamweaver to add an additional page to the site. Any tutorials, hints, as to the first steps I need to take to backup the site, and then import it into Dreamweaver?

just setup the ftp service in dreamweaver, verify you can connect, go to remote server display and choose all files.
now click the get button, it will bring back the entire website to your disk..

THe beauty of html is that you don%26#039;t have to use the same editor that someone else used.
Just ftp the site down from the server.
Other Replys:Websites are groups of HTML pages. HTML is a standard and doesn%26#039;t change from program to program. It shouldn%26#039;t matter what program was used to design the original site. You should still be able to use whatever you would like to edit or add an additional page. However there may be some slight differences depending on your skill level and abilities if the programs are very different.
